"I also pride myself on providing patients with highly professional care. I will take all the time necessary to properly evaluate you and to understand your lifestyle so that I can make a proper recommendation. I will also thoroughly explain each of your options, and I will be here for all your follow-up needs."

Alene P. Lightfoot, ACA, BC-HIS

Improving the Quality of Her Patients' Lives

"My grandfather was hearing-impaired, and I saw firsthand how hearing aids allowed him to enjoy precious moments with his family, friends and church. This is what led me to the field of hearing care. I've provided hearing aids to many of my family members, including my father, my uncle, my grandmother and two aunts. I know what it's like to have family members who suffer from hearing loss, so I can definitely relate to my patients and the challenges they wish to overcome."

"My goal is to improve the quality of my patients' lives through better hearing. I am committed to providing them with advanced, reliable and convenient services for treating hearing loss. And a key part of my care is taking the time to listen to my patients' needs, answer their questions and thoroughly explain all of their options. It's the same level of personalized care that I've provided my own family members."

* Board-Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist: National Institute for Hearing Instrument Sciences

When she isn't helping her patients recapture the wonderful sounds of life, Alene enjoys fishing, traveling, reading and spending time with her new grandson. She gives back to the community during the winter holidays through the "Christmas Needy" program, which helps those who are unable to afford hearing aids. Alene has also joined the Business Leaders of Ocala, a service networking club for the Ocala community.

Education and Training You Can Count On

"I've dedicated my career to helping people enjoy a better quality of life through the use of hearing aids. And my education, training and board certification allow me to stay on top of the developments in technology and to use them to improve your hearing."

"I make sure each patient I work with has the opportunity to experience the best in hearing technology. I believe in performing the most thorough hearing aid evaluation and spending time getting to know each patient so that I can help them make their best decision when choosing a hearing instrument."

"Hearing instruments need to be the right size, right shape and right fit for a patient's specific hearing problem. I always take the time to educate patients and explain the benefits of each type of hearing aid technology. This highly personalized approach to hearing care is the hallmark of Beneficial Hearing Aid Center, and it's why so many patients have made our care a regular part of their lives."
